These are a really lovely, comfy, vibrant socks that wash really well. My plan to give random gifts of such happy socks to friends was foiled when I decided to keep them for myself. I had had the idea that it would be good to give gifts for no reason, just as random acts of kindness and perhaps I will at some later stage but I cheerfully substituted self-indulgence for generosity. I love them.
